happy st. patrick's day!

Any plans for today?  Are you going out on the town tonight, seeing any parades or finding any pots o' gold?  I plan on drinking a green beer later today, because it's not St. Patrick's Day without one.  But I do wish I could spend today with my favorite kiddos, who are likely getting some cool classroom parties full of green cakes and cookies and perhaps some pot-o-gold punch.  Or with my mom, back in Lawrence...one of my favorite years was when she drove up to spend it with me, drinking green beer at The Replay and watching the parade go by.  It's fun to drink green beer with your mom, btw.
