Happy Friday, y'all!  I can tell that we're in for a good weekend (more on that later) and that the weather is going to feel like nothing but summer.   If money were no option, I'd be traipsing around in this outfit with just a touch of color on my face.  Weekend minimal at its best, right?

I've always loved wearing shorts, mainly because my legs have always been my favorite body part to expose in the warmer months.  My upper half is larger than my lower half, so I feel most comfortable wearing shorts and 3/4 length sleeves in the summer than I do wearing a tank top and jeans.  I guess that's also why I love wearing dresses in the summertime, too.  With the weather warming up, it's time to get the legs in shape for summer wear and what better motivation than to eye some amazing shorts!? I love how many variations there are for shorts this year, whether it be the classic denim (with a chambray twist), bold, bright patterns and colors or simple, soft neutrals.  Which do you prefer?  I've never ventured too far away from the classic denim, but this year I may have to be adventurous!
