Today's Friday's Fancies is a colorful one - meaning that I'm in the summer-time mood and want to embrace it for all it's worth.  We're leaving next Wednesday for a brief beach vacation and I couldn't be more excited for it.  I would love to wear this outfit one evening after spending the day swimming in the ocean and basking in the sun with a cocktail in hand.  I've been swooning over this Marc by Marc Jacobs dress ever since I saw it in an ad in Marie Claire (or was it Lucky? or both?).  It's gorgeous and vibrant and exactly what I wish I could twirl in on warm summer days and nights....

Swimsuit round-up

Swimsuit season is fast approaching and what better way to welcome it than making sure you've got the perfect suit?  Last summer, I scored at Macy's with a berry colored Roxy bikini.  I really adore the shade, love the fit of the top and feel good in it for the most part.  If I were in the market for a new suit though, I would definitely pick one of these.

I'm so into both the dress and the swimsuit from Marc by Marc Jacobs!  You may have seen this dress floating around the blogosphere but I just can't stop staring at it and needed to repost.  After flipping through the new issue of Lucky and seeing it again, I just fell so hard for its gorgeous color, stripes and summer feel.  And the swimsuit?  So adorable.  I need these in my life, do you need them too?
