Etsy find :: Minnow Bathers

Since I've been spending most of my time in my bathing suit as of late, I was excited when I came across Minnow Bathers' Etsy collection of unique swimwear.  I would love to spend my afternoons lounging poolside in one of those floral beauties or the black and white bandeau.  I must say, these Toronto designers have mad talent and if I were able to drop some money on a new swimsuit I would definitely show them some love!

Would you buy a swimsuit on Etsy?

Dreaming in color :: Turquoise

Dreaming in color :: Turquoise

My favorite color - turquoise/aqua makes me extremely happy all year round.  But it holds a special place in my heart in the warmer months, when pops of color are everywhere.  I always gravitate towards this hue when shopping - maybe it's the close resemblance to water, or maybe it's the fact that it flatters my super pale skin.  Either way, I totally dig it.

1.  Hunter Boots - $120
2.  Calypso St. Barth shorts - $138
3.  Harvey Nichols Twisted back one piece
4.  Opening Ceremony Tsumori Chisato - $245
5.  Max & Chloe Cocktail Ring - $170
6.  J Brand cut-off shorts - $205
7.  Jigsaw Flat Bow Espadrilles - $75
8.  Journelle Cosabella Soire Molded Bra - $51

P.S. - Happy birthday to my niece, lil' miss Ally girl!  She is now 6 going on 20, I swear!

Life's a Beach

It's official.  I'm still pretending I'm on vacation, at the beach, soaking up the glorious Florida sun.  I can't shake it.  With summer temps here again yesterday it just felt like an extension of vacation.  I'm practically refusing to let it sink in that vacation is over!

So since I still think I can just hop over to the private beach full of sea creatures, I wanted to share with you my favorite finds for a trip to the beach - all under $100.

Swimsuit round-up

Swimsuit season is fast approaching and what better way to welcome it than making sure you've got the perfect suit?  Last summer, I scored at Macy's with a berry colored Roxy bikini.  I really adore the shade, love the fit of the top and feel good in it for the most part.  If I were in the market for a new suit though, I would definitely pick one of these.

Lusting for :: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I'm so into both the dress and the swimsuit from Marc by Marc Jacobs!  You may have seen this dress floating around the blogosphere but I just can't stop staring at it and needed to repost.  After flipping through the new issue of Lucky and seeing it again, I just fell so hard for its gorgeous color, stripes and summer feel.  And the swimsuit?  So adorable.  I need these in my life, do you need them too?

Swimwear

Do any of you out there have an easy time with swimwear?  Do all swimsuits just look wonderful on you?  You can order a swimsuit online, feeling completely confident of how it will look on you and then when it arrives it just fits you like a glove?  No?  Yeah, me either.

Last week I ordered the darling swimsuit above from Anthropologie to wear on my honeymoon in Italy.  I've lost a lot of weight and have shaped up in preparation for my big day...so naturally I thought I could pull it off.  But no.  It was almost right but, I kind of care about my appearance and since I'm already going to blind these Italians by my pastiness (even with my fake tanner), I shouldn't give them any more eye sores!

So now I'm back to square one.  And I'm OK with that because let's face it, swimsuits this season are shaping up to be pretty specatcular.  I just need to try them on before I purchase!

So here are some swimsuits I am loving right now...

Things I am loving...

Loving these H&M dresses from their newly launched eco-friendly clothing line.  Can you believe these dresses are under $30??  Via

These incredibly beautiful colorful flats, that I could win via Lucky (as part of a $1,000 shopping spree to endless.com)

Rachel Bilson - her effortless style, her hair (I'm so loving that sun-kissed/faded color look), her overall cuteness.  Major girl crush, for many years now...

This Anthropologie Seafolly floral bikini.  This, I am thinking, would be perfect for honeymooning seaside in Italy, no?
