Have you guys heard of Mur wall decals?  They are only pretty much the best and I want so badly to have a wall or four of them in my home.  Ever since I bought these Mae Wall Decals for Wyatt's nursery, I've been a fan of anything in similar fashion.  Recently, I purchased a sweet stencil for "wallpapering" a room but that involves paint and precision and frankly, ain't nobody got time for that.  Lucky for us, Green Wedding Shoes is hosting a giveaway in which THREE lucky winners will be chosen.  How sweet is that?!

Tumbleweed Handcraft has some amaaaaazing sunglasses - I can't believe I only discovered them this week!  At $85, you can't really beat the deal of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind wood veneer badass sunglasses, now can you.

The fastest way to "hip" up your home - these mini geometric planters would look any room look 10 times cooler.  Etsy shop Shade on Shape has some very pretty things worth checking out.

Sometimes I wish I could plan weddings all the time.  Minus the stress.  But really, the stress is only really bad when it's your own wedding, right?!  Anyway, these straws from Bhldn are so incredibly beautiful, and they're STRAWS.  Why wasn't this store around when I got married??

I leave you with a recent picture of my little meatloaf, as charming as ever.

Hope you are all surviving the week - it's almost Friday! Be sure to check back in, an exciting post is in the works!

I love everything about this image.  Can we road trip in California, stat?  No? Instead, we'll be road tripping through Indiana next week to visit awesome friends in Chicago (long overdue).  We'll be cruising in a car, not a van, with a baby who probably won't be into it whatsoever.  Wish us luck...

How amazing do these raspberry & lime sangria popsicles look? Yes, please!!

This also makes me want to road trip in California, and camp by the sea.  Such a beautiful, hand-crafted teepee from Orourke Shop.

I love Georgia's new prints in her Etsy shop, The Big Harumph.  We have several throughout the house and this one and this one are hanging in Wyatt's nursery.  Now through the end of the month, receive 20% off your purchase when you become a Facebook fan!

This dining hall evokes a lot of memories of mine, spending weeks in the summer at camp in the mountains.  It will be so exciting to send my boy to a summer camp. This place looks pretty amazing, Great Camp Sagamore via Martha Stewart.

Hope your weeks have been lovely - it's almost Friday!

Just a few of the pretties I've stumbled upon via Etsy.  I wish they could all be mine.

I love, love, love this card with all my heart!  Via

How delicious do these cherry margaritas look?  I think I'm starting to make a list of all the adult beverages I want after this baby is born.  These are moving to the top of the list, I must say!  Via

I've been really into flowy blouses lately and this one is certainly stunning.  Via

We already have our mobile/nursery theme picked out, but this happy day cloud mobile sure is darling.

Last but not least, how precious are these hand-carved stools?  Oh. My. God.  Via

I hope your weeks have been lovely.  I'm happy we're so close to the weekend - and I'm especially looking forward to tomorrow because I'm being treated to a prenatal massage!  Woo!

Happy Thursday!

I thought I'd start today's post off with some serious cuteness.  These Teddy leggings from Mini Rodini are the cat's pajamas and any baby boy would look exceptionally adorable in them.

I just love this in its entirety.  I love Julia Child, I love to eat and I love the design.  Via

I can't get over how dreamy this porch is.  I bet it's nestled perfectly in the mountains somewhere and I bet this scene is straight out of fall when the rest of us are dreaming of crisp weather that calls for plaid blankets and fires.  Needless to say, I want to go to there.  Via

Lately, I've had a bit of an obsession with white, flowy blouses with lace or embroidered details.  And I saw this on Pinterest and really loved it, although I'm not fond of her pairing with army-print jeans.  It just seems so lovely and feminine in just the right ways.  Shirt via (now sold out), photo via

Considering it's the dead of winter and considering we have yet to figure out a good solution for our shoes in the entryway, I think this idea is brilliant.  We have an ugly tray for collecting wet boots, but this just takes it to a different level.  Not only does it look better but it functions better.  Genius!  Via

How are you all doing? Excited that Friday is tomorrow?!  Who am I kidding, of course you are!  I do hope your weeks have been going well.  Ours has been strange here in Louisville - 70 degrees one day, tornado warnings at 4 a.m. and it's freezing cold with snow on the ground today.  Trying my best to remain healthy and happy.  Happy Thursday, y'all!

You know what's both incredibly exciting and incredibly terrifying about these earrings? You're probably thinking, what is terrifying about earrings?!  Well, they're part of the spring 2013 collection from Stella & Dot.  Not terrifying, you say?  Well, imagine if you were due to give birth in spring 2013! Kind of terrifying now, right?!  I can' believe I'm seeing those words pop up everywhere.  Spring 2013.  Ah!

And if only it was warm enough outside to slip these babies on my feet.  Because I need shoes that are easy to slip on my feet.  News flash.  It's hard to bend over with a basketball in your belly, folks.  I'm thinking I need to order these Madewell sandals as my summer staple.

Why is it that when you need something and you settle on that something being something from Target that you like you but you don't love, and it's not really the best option but you go for it because you need it, and then you end up finding the perfect solution too little too late? That's what happened here.  We needed a mat for our wet shoes, we bought a mat from Target that we're all like, "eh" about, and it only kind of stays in place, and now here it is, the mat I've been yearning for.  You like my run-on sentences?  Via

Mmm, perfect-looking breakfast sandwich....mmmm.  I'm hungry.  All the time.  And this looks divine. And yeah, it has bacon on it and yeah, I've been eating occasional meat since with child.  Sue me!  Via

With Valentine's Day approaching, wouldn't this ring dish be a lovely gift to receive? Or better yet, a perfect ring bearer "pillow" for a rustic wedding.  We used a piece of carved wood with our initials in it and the rings tied on with satin ribbon.  It was lovely.  And so is this.  Via

How are you, lovelies?  I hope your weeks are going well.  I"m so thrilled to have an easy day today...the early half of the week was rather rough!  Hang in there, everyone, tomorrow is Friday!

Thursday Loves + A Special Birthday

Need a blast of winter....fast?  These instant winter scenes from Etsy shop Kate's Cottage Shop will have you feeling cheery in no time.

I need some snow in my life, can you tell? Isn't this winter barn absolutely gorgeous?  Via

The perfect snuggly sweater to wear while visiting the wintery barn, above?  I do declare.  And I love the price tag - $32.74!  Via She Inside

This hallway feels so cozy and I really wish that I could copy it into my own home.  Sadly we do not have a hallway of these proportions so mimicking it is merely a pipe dream.  I guess I'll just continue to stare at its beauty while pretending it was all mine.  Via

Last but certainly not least, today is my husband's birthday.  He is most deserving of the best slice of life there is and I want to wish him a very happy birthday in every way I can think of.  He's pampered me to no end throughout this pregnancy (happy halfway mark to me on Sunday!), rubbed my feet every night, cooked me dinner, taken the pooch out most every time, let me have the remote when I've had enough football, bought me flowers and he never forgets to tell me I'm beautiful.  David, you're the absolute best.  Via

I have a complaint to voice and it might not merit any sympathy.  It's been really warm here, like, 74 degrees.  In December.  And it has only felt like winter one day.  I'm not happy with it, even though most people probably are.  I just want it to feel like Christmas is coming, in terms of weather.  Would it kill mother nature to just do me a solid with this one?!  The wildlife in our neighborhood is acting confused - it sounds like early spring every morning.  Dang it, global warming!  Photo via

If handmade holidays are your thing, consider checking out Carnivale Clay on Etsy.  The artist and I share a mutual fondness for a certain friend, not to mention she makes gorgeous stoneware for the home and garden.

Oh Free People.  You've done it again.  You've wooed me with your holiday sparkle.  Too bad my every expanding belly couldn't even begin to fit into this without busting the thread that holds every last sequin on to this beautiful dress.

I'm not sure if this house could be any cooler.  Via

Can I have this strawberry, basil and goat cheese panini for lunch, please? Oh my!  Via Cookie + Kate

Hope your weeks have been swell!

Whoa.  The baker inside of me is infatuated with these toys!  I haven't been baking too much lately (although that really should change) but these are the kinds of toys that make my eyes light up!  Via  Thanks for pinning, Krystal!

I love everything about this coat, mainly the color.  And funny enough, I bought a camel-colored coat from H&M this year that is so similar in looks, size and shape.  The price isn't so bad, either! Via

This image has been making the blog rounds but I really wanted to share it too.  I love how the sheepskin makes it look like snow at the bottom of the tree.  There's no way it would work well in my house with the dog and cat around though :) Via

Another step towards baby Badger's nursery is complete! Thanks to a sale which basically knocked off shipping, these Oh Deer - Retro decals are going up on the walls.  Everything is coming together a little faster than expected but it's so nice to have the decorations coming together early so we can focus on all the expensive items we have to have when it matters most.  Via

Erin of Reading My Tea Leaves put together a stocking stuffer gift guide roundup that is featured on Etsy today!  It features some of the coolest finds around, and I would love to have them all in my stocking come Christmas morning!

Hope you're all having a lovely week - and that you all had a lovely Thanksgiving.  We played host to some amazing friends, followed by a visit from my parents.  It was a great time and definitely left me in the Christmas spirit.  Happy almost Friday, friends!

My stomach is growling just looking at this. I used to not consider myself a fan of beets but that has all changed.  Our homegrown beets were superb, especially paired with goat cheese.  So honestly, this sandwich looks pretty much perfect.  Via

Oh J.Crew sweater, I need you in my closet!  You are the epitome of my style - especially paired with those jeans and messy side pony.  I definitely wish I had $95 lying around to spend on a sweater.  Maybe I'll do some extra chores around the house ;)

Oh. My. God. I looooove these illustrations!  Tutti Confetti, you make my heart flutter!

This is random, but I'm totes diggin' this chick's effortless hair.  It looks part ratty (like mine usually does) but with the perfect amount of wave in the perfect places.  Rarely does my hair do this but when it does I feel like I should go out and paint the town red.

Last but not least, I thought I'd leave you with a drool-worthy image of amazing barstools.  That's all.  Via

I love this room for so many reasons.  We have been talking about our screened-in porch for quite some time now and still haven't quite settled on one specific idea.  We want to transform it into another room that we can lounge in when the weather is nice and not use it as a catch-all for all the things that have no home (we have a terrible habit of this).  Since we don't have a shed yet, or a garage (only a carport), the porch has to serve as storage for tools and the mower.  But once we figure out how to get that stuff out of there, we plan to lay tile or some sort of flooring, add furniture and maybe even a curtain and decorate it nicely.  I'm finding tons of inspiration from this one image alone but am VERY open to your lovely suggestions :)  Via

Seeing as though it's the perfect time of the year to eat corn, this recipe from A Beautiful Mess seems a pretty delicious way to eat some corn on the cob.  We had some last night but we still have several more ears left to eat.  I'm thinking that this might be the way to go next time!

This dress is so darling - and for all you lucky ladies with backs like hers, I think it would be hard to resist the urge to snatch this up at once!  Via

Before my family was in town, the mister and I had been doing a great deal of reading in bed.  I read all the time but he rarely reads.  Last night we did just this and it felt so good.  Any good book suggestions for when I'm through reading my current book?  Via

Last, for all you mamas and papas out there, this article about raising successful children is pretty good.

Sorry for my absence this week, but it's been one of those weeks where I have just been living my life away from the computer.  My family left Tuesday so we went to celebrate our anniversary the proper way on Tuesday night with a delicious prix fixe meal from Harvest - a farm-to-table restaurant here in Louisville.  It was a special event with the Bluegrass Brewing Company that night, which paired four beers with four courses that were SUPERB.  All I can say is...smoked deviled egg...holy wow!

Also, we've been completely sucked into the Olympics every single night.  How about you?  How have you been?  Hope your weeks are going great!
