I thought I'd start today's post off with some serious cuteness.  These Teddy leggings from Mini Rodini are the cat's pajamas and any baby boy would look exceptionally adorable in them.

I just love this in its entirety.  I love Julia Child, I love to eat and I love the design.  Via

I can't get over how dreamy this porch is.  I bet it's nestled perfectly in the mountains somewhere and I bet this scene is straight out of fall when the rest of us are dreaming of crisp weather that calls for plaid blankets and fires.  Needless to say, I want to go to there.  Via

Lately, I've had a bit of an obsession with white, flowy blouses with lace or embroidered details.  And I saw this on Pinterest and really loved it, although I'm not fond of her pairing with army-print jeans.  It just seems so lovely and feminine in just the right ways.  Shirt via (now sold out), photo via

Considering it's the dead of winter and considering we have yet to figure out a good solution for our shoes in the entryway, I think this idea is brilliant.  We have an ugly tray for collecting wet boots, but this just takes it to a different level.  Not only does it look better but it functions better.  Genius!  Via

How are you all doing? Excited that Friday is tomorrow?!  Who am I kidding, of course you are!  I do hope your weeks have been going well.  Ours has been strange here in Louisville - 70 degrees one day, tornado warnings at 4 a.m. and it's freezing cold with snow on the ground today.  Trying my best to remain healthy and happy.  Happy Thursday, y'all!

I'm really loving the looks of this industrial kitchen and think it would be quite fun to drink coffee and eat pastries, followed by some casual knitting at this lovely table.  Via

How rad is this elephant cupboard?!  I've never seen anything like it! I imagine such creativity is sparked through this guy.  Via

Nothing much to say about this one, just finding it beautiful today.  Subtitled, "safety not guaranteed."  Via

This girl really rocks this outfit, don't you think? I don't know if I could pull it off, but she seems to rather effortlessly.  Via

Last, I'll leave you with this lip-smacking image of french macarons.  I've craved these throughout my pregnancy but have not indulged.  I.  Need.  One.  Now.  Via

Hope you're having lovely weeks.  It's a rainy day here, likely the start of a week of rainy days.  I don't mind one bit (at least for now).  Happy Thursday, loves!

I have a complaint to voice and it might not merit any sympathy.  It's been really warm here, like, 74 degrees.  In December.  And it has only felt like winter one day.  I'm not happy with it, even though most people probably are.  I just want it to feel like Christmas is coming, in terms of weather.  Would it kill mother nature to just do me a solid with this one?!  The wildlife in our neighborhood is acting confused - it sounds like early spring every morning.  Dang it, global warming!  Photo via

If handmade holidays are your thing, consider checking out Carnivale Clay on Etsy.  The artist and I share a mutual fondness for a certain friend, not to mention she makes gorgeous stoneware for the home and garden.

Oh Free People.  You've done it again.  You've wooed me with your holiday sparkle.  Too bad my every expanding belly couldn't even begin to fit into this without busting the thread that holds every last sequin on to this beautiful dress.

I'm not sure if this house could be any cooler.  Via

Can I have this strawberry, basil and goat cheese panini for lunch, please? Oh my!  Via Cookie + Kate

Hope your weeks have been swell!

I am pretty hungry right now and the thought of eating this is making me mad! Mad for eggs, that is. Via

Last night we caught the opening monologue of Conan for the first time in ages and I am still laughing about this. Nick Offerman (the beloved Ron Swanson) read young female celebrity tweets while working in his shop.  That was all it was and it was awesome.  Definitely the only rewarding bit of Conan last night, in our opinion.

You may have seen this floating around the interwebs lately, but I find it to be NUTS!  Artist Bryan Saunders Lewis took every drug known to man (though most of these seem to be medications than street drugs) and drew a self portrait while under the influence.  It's fascinating, I tell you, and definitely worrisome.  We as a nation are prescribed these medications every day...and these are the portrayals! Yikes!  Source

I desperately wish this was me this weekend.  Alas, I'll be home alone with no plans of putting my feet in water and letting the waves crash over them.  Alas.  Via

I literally love everything about this image.  Seriously.  That is all.  Via

Hope you all have are having a lovely Thursday (and week).  Only one more day until the long weekend!

I am so enamored by the artwork coming out of Snedker Studio.  The image above is a tiny example of all the awesomeness they consist of.  Click on the link and check it out for yourself! And go ahead and buy me some prints while you're at it.

* Thanks for all your encouraging comments about work for me this week! We're surviving, but not without early bed times and lots of deep breaths.  Eek...at least we're starting to grasp it all.  But seriously, you guys are the best.

Have you seen these funny diver faces floating around the internet? I can't stop sharing them with people, they make for such good laughs.  Sorry, divers.  You are thoroughly entertaining us though, and I"m not just talking about these photos.  Also, were you lucky enough to see this happen live? We were and I admit...I haven't been able to stop talking about it either.  Tuesday was such a fantastic night for US Olympic gold!

I love the way this brightly-colored eclectic room makes me feel.  I want to curl up in the bed and read a good book for hours and hours.  I also feel like it would spark creativity at every chance, don't you? Via

Loving the looks of this screen printed shirt by Etsy artist Veronica de Arriba.  Such a fun, playful pattern and a great way to dress up "t-shirt and jeans".

what better way to present the ashen remains of your lamented relative
than hung within an ancient egyptian dung beetle artifact?

Have you guys seen Anthroparodie? It really cracks me up! I love Anthropologie as much as the next person but they really do have some easy stuff to make tons of fun of!

Last, I thought I'd leave you all with a very uplifting quote from one of the best.  Positive thoughts, my friends!  Via

Hope your weeks are going great!

I think I need to have these hummus melts ASAP! How delicious and pretty nutritious! Via

YES dress, I love you.  Won't you be mine?

The color combination in this home is incredible.  And it turns out, that is basically the same color of pale green that we have in our bedroom.  I am sensing some serious inspiration!  Via

I wish I knew where to go to end up in the navajo flea market.  Anybody know how and where?! Via

What's inspiring you today?

pocket books // shot glasses (sold out) // bangle //// shorts // skirt // tee

I couldn't resist the Twin Peaks pocket books.  How could I ever?  And I do believe I'll take the tee so I can sport it all summer long.  The shorts, too.  But most of all, I'll gladly take the art.  Please!

Today I am loving this Inessa dress from Garnet Hill.  Although I'm pretty sure that it only looks good on people of this model's stature.  I would look frumpy, yes, but it still doesn't stop me from liking it!

This whole package just leaves me delighted.  Excellent branding, I say.  And what guy wouldn't look dapper while sporting this tie?  Well done, Stalward.  Too bad it's sold out.

Everything in this image leaves me feeling so relaxed.  The bench is gorgeous, the basket is adorable, surely that rug peeping out is amazing, the towels are so perfectly folded and such a crisp white and the pottery in the window is perfect.  Via

This Star-Spangled Shortcake from Martha Stewart looks scrumdiddlyumptious.  So fresh and surely amazing with every single bite.

Artwork from Slovakia which pays tribute to all the wild women / men inside us.  I simply can't get enough.  Be sure to check out EmeraldSnow on Etsy for more awesomeness.

Holy mother of color - my eyes are in heaven!  When I spotted this print via Pinterest, I went weak in the knees.  I am such a fan of the color palette so I couldn't resist creating an outfit to wear.  If only I could take it all on my upcoming vacation.  If only...
