Weekend Recap
{image}
- Haunted House - we stood in the chilly line, built up anticipation and entered the maze of horror. It was...funny, partly scary and some parts were impressive. Considering the cost, it should be longer than 5 minutes though.
- We finally painted our hallway/entryway! It's cozy and I like it.
- We finally hung a few things on the wall! And finally cleared things off the dining room table. Finally. Geeze.
- Family dinner - we fixed a feast for everyone and ate ourselves into oblivion. I made the rustic apple tart you see above (that's not my version though) and it was scrumdiddlyumptious.
- Bears victory!
- Cozy Sunday night watching a movie in front of a warm fire.
How were your weekends? Awesome as always? Here's to a great week ahead!
P.S. - have you heard of Joss & Main? I've been a member for awhile now and actually bought a chair from the website. It's pretty amazing! Click here to become a member!

Wow, you had a busy weekend! I just stayed at home and worked the whole time...and I still feel like I didn't really achieve much.

hey! I just painted my bathroom this weekend. Well, painting... (not quite done.) I can't wait to see your place!
What in the world is that delicious looking dessert?! I want.
We painted too! Feels good to get a house project done here and there
That apple tart looks delicious!
We went on a road trip to Coronado, was fantastic as always. One of my favorite things to do there is go to the dog beach in the morning. Watching all the dogs playing in the ocean is the best way to start the day :)
Wow - super impressed you made an apple tart. I literally just printed out a recipe off of Food & Wine for a tart made w/ butternut squash, mushrooms, and gruyere cheese. Wondering if I can cheat and use puff pastry? Anyway, let's petition for 3 day weekends! xo
The apple tart sounds delicious! And your perfectly fall weekend sounds amazing!
I totally wuss out when it comes to haunted houses! Ha!
Oh God I'm hungry like hell and yours it's the third blog on four with food pictures. You bloggers really want me to go to the bakery and have that slice of pizza.
Ok. I'm happy you're decorating and painting the house. I love the feeling of the first few days, when you just painted and everything looks so perfect!

Yay for such a cozy weekend! It seemed you welcomed fall properly. :)
