Art Muse, Meet Fashion Muse

When I first saw this image on Pinterest via {wit + delight} via artmuse.com, I was in love.  I knew countless amounts of creativity would spark from the image alone...and lo and behold, a swoon-worthy outfit was born ::

Fashion Muse

I for one adore the colors in the painting and love how they work so well together in the outfit.  The peep of mustard makes a fun pop of color, especially when used in a place that the eye normally does not draw.  The shade is so subtle in the painting and I love it.  Now if only I could get my hands on a pair of those cable knit socks, my fall wardrobe would be all set...or something like that.

Any color palettes inspiring you lately?  I'd love to hear...

could you be more creative?! I think not. I've been loving the classic camel+red+black lately, though I think yours is much more fun!

hope your week is going well! xoxo {av}

LOVE when art inspires fashion! Do you know who the artist is? It looks like someone inspired by Cy Twombly ~

Lovely inspiration! Such a perfect correlation between the painting and the outfit :) The color combo is so pretty, too! I have been feeling a little dark and neutral so far - lots of black and cognac or charcoal and camel/gold. I was so colorful all summer that I think I must be in a palette-cleansing mode...I will get some pops in there soon, though! This post definitely inspires me! xoxoxo brynn

Oooh great match up!! I've been on a black, grey and denim and navy kick lately. For some reason I'm doing outfits every day and have to force myself otherwise. Hmmmmm

I'm always very moody with color. I love them all, more or less, and rarely wear total black. These days I am a lot into dark blues and yellows!
