Fall is for Knitting

I've recently been working on a project that has me so excited for cold nights.  I've been going through yarn faster than ever and each and every stitch gets me more and more eager to finish.  But after I finish, I know I'll want to start another project.  I'm just not sure what.

Thank goodness for the internet ::

Mayhaps I'll knit a blanket with bold blocks of color.  Or intricately knit the most adorable booties in existence.  Or perhaps I'll finally knit my main squeeze a manly gray cap (I've knit hats, I just never have for him.  Poor thing) or really get into the Halloween spirit (too late) and knit up a witch!

Hope the weather is treating you nicely wherever you are - our weather is fall at its finest right now :)

Ooh, what are you making?? I never got beyond scarves so I'm pretty impressed that you could do a hat!! I think if I were still living somewhere with long cold winters, I'd def take up knitting again.

I got super excited for knitting and crocheting yesterday. I tend to always have something going, but in the winter/fall I always pick up the pace and get more adventurous. I can't wait to see what you make next! And what you're working on now, for that matter. :)

I love knitting, and a co-worker is going to teach me how to create cables! Now, I just have to go get some more yarn. Your projects look divine.:)

How nice that you know how to knit. I would love to be able to make a cosy scarf myself.

That little witch makes me wish I knew how to knit! My grandmother patiently spent a day showing me, and I have not one stitch for all my efforts!

How fun that you knit! I have crocheted a blanket before but not in years. Don't think I could handle two needles.
It's still really hot here in Phoenix, trying to imagine fall weather :)

I taught myself to knit several years ago for stress relief. I know how to do 2 stitches. Last fall/winter I began "again" for stress relief and knitted several scarves for Xmas gifts and then magically opened my etsy shop! Knitting is fun and enjoyable. I especially love all of the different textures to choose from...there's an absolutely fabulous knitting store here in town (but, I have to be careful when I go because I spend too much money), lol! I'm looking forward to seeing your finished creation. I actually completed 5 scarves over the last week and started a new one tonight, serious stress relief right now! :)

I don't know how to knit, but I love the idea of hobbies for the seasons ~ I think it allows you to enjoy the change of seasons more fully!
