Hello, Fall
My mind is still completely baffled by this weather. This morning I woke up with several piles of blankets wrapped tightly around my body, a kitty snuggled on my feet and the warmth of my husband keeping me comfortable enough. Needless to say, we went from pumping the AC to keep it at 74 degrees, to almost needing to start a freaking fire just to keep warm enough!
Naturally, my mind is on fall now. I'm craving everything about it and I want to don an outfit that exemplifies autumn and all its glory. Except, I have nothing in my wardrobe that is currently satisfying that itch. So scratch that itch, dear blog. Scratch it good and spare my wallet.
I saw the blanket this morning in an email and felt the need to share. It's that classic wool camping blanket synonymous with fall (at least to me) and it left me ready for all that it has to offer. I'm of course completely in love with EmersonMade's olive wool day coat, Steven Alan sweaters always call my name and these Minnetonka booties would be the perfect touch to any ensemble all season long.

I totally understand what you mean about going from AC to needing a fire. It was in the high 80s here last weekend to low 60s and rain today :(
Those shoes are so comfortable looking! And inexpensive too! I also wish I could wrap myself up in that plaid blanket :)

Looks like the perfect pieces to complete a fall wardrobe. So glad we can use blogs to scratch itches that budgets can't :)
i am so ready! summer was crazy busy, i'm hoping the fall will bring a slower pace, but i have a feeling that is wishful thinking.

Hehe I know how you feel! Just last week I was sweating the second I stepped outside, and today, sitting in my office, I wish I had worn tights and a sweater! Brrrr :) I am so excited for fall but I'd better start dressing for the weather!
That plaid blanket is heaven, and I'm just getting ready to pull the trigger on a new wool coat! I'm thinking camel with outrageous gold buttons from J.Crew, but that Emersonmade is making me rethink my plans...
Oh I agree, I have been craving fall for the past couple of days now, I even wore my trench coat today! (it is raining though)...that blanket just looks so cozy!
I know, what's up with it being relaly cold all the sudden?! I am totally thinking about fall too...not quite ready to pull out my tights just yet though...

For fall? Haha, when you live in the north of Norway you pretty much don't have a choice by now! Either you are ready or you are cold ;)

Mmmm...fall is my absolute favorite season!!! i swear, we just got summer here in seattle - FINALLY! - but, there is definitely still a crispness in the air and i won't deny that i love it :) {though, i am not quite ready for summer to end... come october, bring it on fall!} loving that cozy blanket...very much! xoxoxo brynn

I know what you mean, here it dropped from 100 everyday to about 55 in the morning! Holy crap! I was so cold walking to class!!! I want less extreme weather.

Absolutely NOT ready, since today is the warmest day we've had here in Seattle! ;) Summer usually starts right about now - haha. I dooo love Fall, but all in good time. xo
