Weekend Recap

The first weekend of fall was a great one. The air was crisp, I baked, I bought mums and had some candy corn. It pretty much ruled. Some highlights include ::
- Seeing Raegan dressed up for the Head Accessory Party. Who knew a painted on cat face could look so creepy? Who knew she could look so amazing with a drawn-on trucker 'stache? Good times.
- The return of the mister!
- Margharita pizza!
- Nulu Fest - listening to The Broken Spurs play while hanging out with a friend we haven't seen in ages (we're obviously a proud supporter of Billy)
- Weekend projects tackled. Solar lights in front of the house? Check. Autumn flowers on the porch? Check. Paint for the hallway/entryway bought? Check. Paint for the kitchen bought? Check. Sanding + painting kitchen chairs? Check. Check, check, check.
- R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G. Double check.

I love the beginning of autumn when the changes in the weather are noticeable but still somehow subtle: sunny days without the heat of a blazing sun, or just the air having a cooler edge to it. Not such a fan of when autumn descends into the miserable, cold depths of winter though!
Your weekend sounds great (margharita pizza is the shiz!), very productive.

sounds like such a lovely weekend! i'm so happy it's officially fall now. my roommate and i bought a little sugar pumpkin to put in our window. now if only the weather would turn more fall-like.
I bought some mums a few weeks ago, but somehow managed to kill them. :( I'm trying to resist the urge to buy more; they're just the perfect fall flower!
I wish autumn was here! It's so hot!

An excellent sounding weekend indeed! I got the last of my current painting project done over the weekend, which I am thrilled about. I love getting stuff checked off my list. :)

Wow! I can't believe you got all those projects done AND had time to relax! What a great way to welcome fall!
Perfect weekend!! Fall is the best and we actually got some here too (read: overcast on Saturday). Suddenly all I want to do is bake apple pie, apple turnovers and all kinds of cookies. Prepare for wide load ahead!! haha!!
