I did it!

Woo hoo! I finally did what I've been wanting to do for ages now, and it feels great.
I officially resigned from my job last Thursday. I will be employed until July 23rd and then I'm back on the job market. I'll have time to get everything done for the wedding before we go to California; I'll have the opportunity to reconnect with myself; I can enjoy the warm weather instead of being cooped up in a cubicle; I get to go to Disneyland as a surprise for my nieces and nephew a few days after the wedding if I want; and I'll have more than plenty of time to figure out what line of work makes me happy. Or at least to get a better idea of it before I go looking for a new job. I've learned that office jobs do not make for a happy Mo.
So looks like I'll also be able to get to spend TONS more time with you guys, which makes me so very super duper happy! So big things are to come to Mo Pie in the next few months and I can't wait!
And because I know it's one of two I have left...happy Monday!

I'm with you!! I did the same thing last january...and it feels great, I know. I especially loved to see the faces of my envy coworkers, too scared to do the same thing, trying to tell me that it was the wrong move. A-ha!! we're free!!
Oh yeah - I have some very envious coworkers. But most have been supportive except for one - I'm disappointed in the way I was treated after I told one in particular. Ah well, I'm happy and that's what matters!

Wow, you're my hero! I've been grappling with a similar issue but lack the confidence to leave my job. It's great to see other people doing it, it's helps me build up the strength. I know you'll do great!
