Weekend Recap
Another relaxing weekend for the books, folks. We didn't do much, which was nice. We did have some good times though, especially since our friend came over last night to hang out and round out the weekend for us. Some highlights include ::
- A very chill Friday night, complete with several episodes of Modern Family season 1 we hadn't seen
- A KU victory to clinch the Big 12 title, muck Fizzou y'all ;)
- A library trip so we can study up on buying a home
- Beer + whiskey cocktails at The Double down the street from us. Relaxed atmosphere, good conversation and delicious beers equaled a good time with my main man
- Spending 2 hours at a coffee shop - he worked, I read. I also ate delicious macarons of the pistachio and chai tea kind.
- Coming oh so close to finishing a certain scarf for a certain new daddy (which I've been working on for far too long, so sorry, I have no excuses)
- Thai food, wine, card games and The Bort Report to finish off the weekend

Love Modern Famil but we also missed the first season. We don't watch much TV but that is one show we love, have to pause all the time while I finish laughing so we don't miss any of it. Cracks me up :)
My weekend was super laid back. Some knitting, reading, TV, brewing, schoolwork and laundry. It was over too quickly. :)

What a wonderful sounding weekend! John and I got our house box-free, which is so exciting I can hardly stand it. I'm still giddy about the discovery that our built-in bookcase makes for a perfect little bar!
I'm quickly coming to love your weekend recaps! although, it makes me feel like a very lazy fiance. we didn't do half the stuff you did. granted Tyler doesn't have a 9-5 and has to work most weekends. grr...I had a friend over saturday night. we saw the kings speech! SO GOOD! I hit the gym and we ended the weekend with sunday night mass. over all it was a good weekend. on our way back from church it was pouring buckets. tyler jumped in a puddle and city water got in my mouth. gross...
ps. I love Chai macaroons! so yummy!
modern family might be the best 30 min show on tv right now!

I had a pretty relaxing weekend myself, in included a drink out on Friday night, Saturday went to lunch with friends, and watched movies, Sunday was spent with my doggie, running around at the park.
well that sounds like a mighty fine weekend, i spend a good deal of my weekend alone which was nice but also boring.

I wish I had been up to no good this weekend, but sadly, all I did was grade papers. I'm glad you had a more exciting weekend than I did!
I don't think I've ever had a whiskey cocktail. Now I feel as though I must!

Which episode of modern family was your favorite. Personally, the Halloween one had my laughing the hardest.
