Mad for triangles

Triangles, triangles, triangles! I can't seem to get enough of them - they're popping up everywhere and have been for awhile now.  Isn't it amazing how such a simple, standard shape can look so neat in so many different ways?  From quilts, to jewelry to clothing - it's a design trend that I can't get enough of.

I'm seriously lusting after the mod triangle walls - how fun would it be to stencil a room in this pattern?

PS - My lovely sister-in-law's shop The Big Harumph will be giving away two prints to a lucky fan on Facebook when she reaches 250 fans.  Why not 'like' her shop on Facebook for a chance to win?!

I've been thinking of making some bunting for my "studio"/basement/kids play area/mess. Elizabeth over at e-tells-tales had a really cool card-stock tutorial the other day. I was still hesitant, BUT you've convinced me. I think I'll partake in this triangle madness.

Stop-my head is spinning from all the cute! Each pick is more adorable than the last-how did triangles go from frustrating geometry homework to perfect home accessories?

haha oh man, a tipple? Never heard of it! Apparently when I googled it, it said "to drink alcohol". Does that sound like something that might fit? ha!

you are in a very GEO-metric mood! it's fun to change things up and go with the unexpected! you should make some bunting to hang in your apartment. I was thinking of doing that for over our fireplace...

Brandi April 7, 2011 at 9:28 AM

I've always been one for geometric shapes. I definitely need some bunting in my home, and you do need to try it on your walls -- maybe start with one focal wall for the time being?

i have a similar obsession, but with stripes. I can buy any kind of useless thing if there is a set of stripes on it. I have bags, t-shirts, socks, jewellery...everything with stripes. Not to mention my kitchen table: I have painted colorful stripes on it too. Is there a cure for this?
