Summer, Summer, Summer Time
Today makes it official - summer is here and there's nothing we can do about it! Sure, it may be miserably hot out there but there are so many reasons to be in love with summer. So many!
Our garden is in full bloom right now, which means that fresh food is at our ready throughout the week. Some things still have a bit to go, like our blackberries, tomatoes and peppers. But we're thoroughly enjoying cucumbers, radishes, lettuce and basil. Plus the green beans are pretty much ready to go! Success!
What are your favorite things about summer? I for one can't get over the fresh fruits and vegetables and the amount of light in the sky at 9:45 p.m. (living on the edge of a time zone is the best).

I think the most romantic thing about summer is how long the sun tries to stay in the sky - it's one of my favourite things as well
You are so right, there is nothing we can do about it. I live in Phoenix, where summer is a blistering hot mess. I usually try to stay inside most of the time.
All the fresh fruit is probably my favorite part too :)
