Thursday Loves
Doesn't this just look "mmm, mmm good"? I want to devour it and enjoy every last morsel. Self control, Mo. Self control. Via
Isn't this the perfect combination of all things summer? Just throw some summer treats in that box and you're good to go for a perfect California kind of day. Via
Speaking of the perfect combination - just add this summer blanket by Mexchic to the mix for an afternoon picnic or a day on the beach.
There's a chance that we may be going to the Kentucky Oaks tomorrow evening with special Chicago visitors! Last year we attended the Derby in the infield (I think I'm set for life now) so this will likely be an entirely different experience if we do go. Everyone will be in pink, the crowds will be a little less and we would get to see all the best Fillies race. And no, I will not be going all out with my attire. I have nothing even somewhat close to a Derby hat and my wardrobe really doesn't consist of anything pink! I know there is many reasons to be against horse racing, but there is certainly something very magical about everything surrounding the Derby. Will you be watching the races this year?
Last, I know it's only the beginning of May. But today's high is 90. 90 degrees! It's going to be a long hot summer if this is the case in early May! Too bad I still haven't ordered that hammock, because I'm really going to need a little resting place in the shade like this ASAP!
Have a lovely Thursday, my friends!

Mmmm, that first photo looks delicious! And I WISH it would be 90 degrees here, it's been 40's and raining all week :/
oh I can't get past the bike with the surf board! My husband seriously wants to sell everything and move to maui...one day I might take him up on the offer :)
p.s. How is that cute puppy of yours?
Mmmm...that first photo looks positively delish! :)
That does look good! It's a warm one here today too.

John was just talking about how he wants to string up a hammock–over our bed, of all places! It sounds like this weekend will be wonderful–I love the history and tradition of the Derby!
Fun and yummy and comfy and lovin' it too!!
that bike is awesome! it's the perfect box on the back: low enough to still have room for your booty but big enough to haul your stuff!
I recently put a basket on the back of my bike and realized i put it too close and now have to sit uncomfortably far up on my seat. i mean, i could grab a screwdriver and spend 5 minutes fixing it... but I'm really lazy...
yes that dessert thing looks heavenly...i say eat it!!! love the california kinda day look too.
I like this round up from the tart to the lovely bicycle which must be ridden while wearing the perfect sundress!
