Polaroids
Last night, I had a dream about an art show. I was a photographer in this dream and I had already taken some incredible "polaroids" with my Fuji Instax Instant Camera. They were full of bright colors and the shots were perfectly set up. I had been given an assignment in which I was required to photograph some buildings from the ocean (what?), in which case I promptly dropped my camera in the water. Now I'm not sure what my dream means or anything but as weird as it was, I woke up feeling oddly inspired to take loads of polaroids. So I think I'll try to do that. Does this ever happen to you?

Polaroids are so fun, I wish I had a legit Polaroid camera, oh well apps can make that look too. lol.
Wanna hear something crazy? When I first saw these photos and before I actually read the text of your post, I thought "Oh weird" because I just had a dream last night that I bought a polaroid camera and people were trying to steal it from me. Then I read the text and saw that you were dreaming of polaroids too! Polas on the brain, I guess. :)
I'm loving these photos, even if the dream that inspired them is admittedly odd. I wish I knew what it meant!
I am always having weird dreams but have a hard time remembering them fully. Not sure what yours meant but if it inspired you to take pics then thats a good dream in my book
I love this post ;) Those polaroids are absolutely gorgeous! Lately I have been having a lot more creative/inspirational dreams, actually. I had one just the other night about a project involving paper & glass...I woke up thinking "I HAVE TO DO THAT NOW!!!" So weird, indeed!

That dream definitely sounds like it's telling you that you need to give yourself more chances to be creative! Grab your waterproof camera, get on a boat, and start shooting buildings... or just have fun photographing on dry land ;)

I absolutely adore polaroids & would love to find the original polaroid camera. I've debated buying the one you mentioned, but the mini photos just don't seem like they'd be the same :( do you like yours? x
These are fantastic photos, there's just something about a Polaroid, isn't there?
I can't say I've had a Polaroid dream before but I've been paying attention to them over the last week or so. It's so interesting how the meaning of a dream actually means something relevant to what's going on in my life.
