Pink and Yellow
It's in the 80s here today (and yesterday), which has now got me in full-fledged summer mode. One of the best parts of dressing for summer is all the bold and bright color choices you can wear. The pink and yellow color combination has been a favorite of mine since childhood. I remember an outfit that consisted of a matching shirt and shorts that were magenta with a yellow border and flower on the shirt. It was kind of dorky, but I really loved the color combo. I also had a really cute tank top that was hot pink with a big pineapple in the center. Ahh, memories. This whole board definitely reminds me of summer.

I have to say it. I'm not usually much of a pink person, but this year I've caught the bug. And it totally takes me back to high school when I was kind of solely a pink wearer. It was kind of insane that phase. Anyway - this is total spring/summer-tastic and I can.not.wait for warmer days and nights!! It feels like winter has been here for 2 years. Argh

two things...one is that i came across a place on-line called the churro factory there in chicago. i wonder if it's any good? they even put one in the middle of whip cream and sprinkles on top like a sundae.
the other thing is that i love pink & yellow and it's the color combo for stella's bday party this sunday! how did you know? :) xo

I seriously have never wanted a pink bathing suit as much as I do right now. I knew yellow was going to be one of my summer colors this year, but now that pink is on my radar, I think I'll need some of that too.
girl! I heard it was hot hot hot in the midwest the other day! I'm so excited for all the bright colors that will be out there this summer season. I have my eye on a bright orange dress from zara to wear to my bridal shower! yay!
