America in color
I know many of you have already posted about these amazing images from the Library of Congress, but I can't help but feel the need to share some of my favorites from the collection. The photographs depict rural America and the effects of the depression.
Aren't they just amazing? They look exactly how I wish I could take photographs now. And most of these are from 1940 - 1942. I can lose and have lost many hours looking at these.

beautiful, beautiful pics. Hard to believe how old these photos are when they're still so vibrant and since the coloring and style is copied in today's photgraphic art.
