Hankering for Handbags
Now that I'm unemployed and living off my husband's salary...I keep feeling the urge to shop and I need to resist it! I don't deserve to, I am not earning any money. I just want what I can't have, I guess. Anyway. My favorite fossil bag that I carry every day is kind of falling apart (we had to superglue the strap) and I've been carrying it every day for a year and a half. It's a brown cross-body bag with the most adorable floral lining. The size works perfectly and I can cram just about everything in it. But I'm not sure how long that superglue will last and I don't want it to break and for me to be ill prepared. So I'm browsing, and browsing for that perfect replacement.
I found this, have yet to see it in person but I'm interested:
It could be hit or miss, it's hard to tell.
Or there's this one:
It's a lovely neutral, great for fall, but like the color....I'm feeling a bit neutral on it too.
And then, I'm a Greedy Girl went and posted this:
The color! The liner! I'm so in love. And it's 100% vegan...and it's only $83.
And then I saw this from Post Grad Hair Cut:
So lovely. But I know I won't be affording this one.
What's a girl to do?

You know I think I like the top one best. I'm kind of on a hippie trip too, but I think that bag is pretty cool based on the picture. The bottom brown one would be next. It's a beautiful color!!

All darling. But remember ... just because you're the one keeping the home fires burning rather than leaving the cozy house to earn the money, then coming home to being pampered ... that doesn't mean you don't deserve to spend some of that money! You earned it!

Love the last picture (the black bag). Cute!
I like the gray one quite a bit, but of course the bag with the stripy lining wins! Love it. And I hear you on the no shopping when not working feelings, been there. I always want to shop the most when I know I shouldn't. Perhaps your new husband can buy you a new bag as a gift, any gifting occasions coming up?
The bag from Greedy Girl gets my pick! I think we've all felt guilt about shopping when you're not bringing home the bacon, but supergluing your old bag together probably means you can splurge on a new bag.
