Cinco de Mayo!

Have a wonderful day!  Enjoy some margaritas! But more importantly, I hope you're able to celebrate the culture instead of looking at this day as a day to party/drink gallons of margaritas/eat Mexican food.  Come on 5 o'clock!

You know, I'm not really sure what Cinco de Mayo really is? I always thought it was Mexican independence day, but according to Martha Stewart that is not the case. I'll definitely have to google it and find out once and for all. No fair having a margarita if you don't know what you're having it for!

You know, I think a lot of people (myself included) don't/didn't really know what it is. I am with you, I thought itwas Mexican Independence day but according to Wikipedia, it's more of an American celebration of those with Hispanic origins. Interesting, right?

According to Martha Stewart...that is hilarious. I agree we should all have to earn our drinks tonight with a little history lesson :)
