Did you know...

That static build up on clothes can go away by applying body lotion on your skin? Last night I wanted to wear a new silk shirt from Urban Outfitters out to dinner. But the problem was it was covered in static and clung to all the wrong places. I needed to get rid of the static but didn't have any dryer sheets. So I went to ehow and found the perfect solution! I applied body lotion to my upper body and then brushed over the shirt with the remaining lotion on my hand. I was static free all night long! If this doesn't work for you, here's another tip.

I had no idea, this is a great tip!!
Last winter we went to a museum function and by the time we arrived my dress was ridiculously clingy. From that night on I have a little bottle of static spray in the car. Holding a cocktail in one hand and un-sticking your dress with the other is not chic. All night long.
What a terrific tip! Like Tash, I've always relied on hairspray in a pinch!
I'll have to try this! Static is my worst enemy in the wintertime. ugh.
What a great tip - especially for these cold dry winter days x
How could it be that simple?
