Viva Las Vegas + Happy Weekend!

This afternoon, we're headed to Las Vegas to celebrate an important birthday in the Badger family. Mayhem is sure to ensue. It's a short trip; we fly back in on Sunday and I'm kind of relieved about that. The last time we were out there (2007) we were there for too long in my opinion, which is odd because I never think vacations last too long. But there's only so much gambling you can do, right? We're going to see some comedy tonight or tomorrow with the fam and probably do tons and tons of walking. Hooray!
Just in time for my "crap, what am I going to wear this weekend?" dilemma, Refinery 29 conveniently sent me an email with tips for easy chic travel. I was already planning on wearing something similar but this really sealed the deal for me ::
I also treated myself to a manicure yesterday, I just couldn't resist. So I opted for this fabulous new OPI color - Glitzerland - that I thought complimented a weekend in Vegas pretty well. I can't get enough of staring at my perfectly painted shimmery gold nails. I'm quite surprised that the color looks good on my pasty freckled skin but it does!

have fun....i wish i liked vegas...i live about 3 hours driving distance from there....everytime i go all i can think about when im there is when the hell am i leaving....
We have friends that keep trying to get us to visit Vegas, and we're resisting! I don't know how much gambling and neon I could for a day, much less a weekend!

Ooooo, sounds like an exciting and fun weekend!! You are right though, Vegas is to be taken in small doses for best effect.
And Glitzerland has been on my holiday polish list but I wasn't sure how it would work with my pale skin. Your endorsement makes it a definite go!

Last time we were there- since all the economy stuff.. you can negotiate with the bottle service and we did buy 1 get 1 free.. TROUBLE..

I gambled only once ( gambling with you grandfather using candies instead of money does not count, right?)
I lost ten euros and I got mad. I wanted to set the world on fire. I calmed down I got into the casino again and won 20 euros. I'm a risk taker in life but i don't like to loose money like that. I would go to Las Vegas to see the shows.
Fun! I've never actually been.... but one day!
