Weekend recap
What a weekend. What a whirlwind trip! We flew out Friday afternoon, started drinking the moment we arrived and didn't stop until we crashed on Saturday night. I ate something bad (really, isn't everything you eat in Vegas pretty bad?) on Friday night and was thus up all night not feeling too great. So Saturday was painful for me, what with the 3 hours of sleep I managed to get and then the all day drinking on top of it. My body hates me and it's letting me know. I think I'll spend today on the couch where I belong.
We did have some good times though. It's always nice to spend time with family since we don't live anywhere near either one of ours. The mister's step-brother turned 21 and definitely drank 21 beers that day. We saw Ron White do stand up at The Mirage (I had never heard of him going into this). That was a pretty enjoyable show, complete with two French Bulldogs coming out on stage and even Carrot Top came out in roller skates at one point so we could all look at each other and go, "what the f***?"
But friends, let me tell you something about Vegas. It's dirrrrrty. Just walking around and through casinos, I needed to shower. Many times. The filth just grabs you and shakes you and doesn't let go. This is my second time in Vegas, so the allure was absent for me this time. All I saw was how disgusting Sin City really is. Hey random guy: I don't want a coupon for 40% off a prostitute, okay?
Aaaah, I'm so glad to be home sweet home.

Sounds like an adventure which Vegas always is.
:) 21 beers? Wow! I am glad he survived. I wrote down every cocktail I had on my 21er as I drank them and my handwriting got more and more crazy as the night went on. :)
I've never been to Vegas so I'm glad for the warning. I'm not a big fan of dirty places.
Oh boy-you're steeling my resolve to avoid Vegas! Glad you're home and can take time to recover from your crazy weekend!

There are coupons for prostitutes??? LOL! That's hilarious! Vegas is somewhere I definitely want to go at least once! =) Glad you did have some fun moments!
people are always suprised when I tell them I didn't like Vegas. I thought it was dirty too. All I did was shop while I was there, and I can do that at home!
