Kings of Convenience

Speaking of music … last week I saw the Kings of Convenience play a great show.

During their opening few songs you could hear a pin drop as the audience was completely taken in by gorgeous harmonies and dreamy guitars.

They’re pretty funny dudes and told some great tales of Bergen (their hometown in Norway), comic books and Mount Everest.

Later on they whipped the crowd up by bringing out members of their support act, Franklin for Short and rocking out some. They ended with a cover of You Can Call Me Al, complete with Erlend holding a dance-off, in which yours truly may have participated....

I’ve been trying to catch KOC since I discovered them in London, but this was definitely worth the wait!
